Background Story

Growing up on the path way back when, the trains would ride right by our house in Belford only feet away. And as kids do, we use to put pennies on the tracks and wait for the train to run over them and take them to school the next day to show our friends. In the Spring and Summer the sweet smell of honeysuckle could be found up and down on the path now known as the “Henry Hudson Trail”. Drinking the beer reminds us of the fun, carefree days of our youth.
